ABOUT THIS GENTLE LAUNDRY SOAP:
This is a specially formulated and powerful liquid Laundry Soap that is safe and mild on YOU! It works best in warm to hot water. It is a Certified Organic, non-toxic citrus-scented liquid Laundry Soap for everyday use.
This 38 oz. size gives you 12-1/2 loads (thats about $1.11 per load) based on your washer size. As we sell in greater volume we will make every effort to get the cost of this laundry soap down. At this point this is the best price we can offer due to manufacturing and bottling cost, but think of it - for less than the cost of ONE movie ticket a month, your wash can be free of the dangerous chemicals that you and your loved ones are presently exposed to.
This is a good size if you wash infrequently or want to have a trial size. We include a 1/3 cup beaker to pour into since our bottle doesn't have a cap to measure in like a normal Laundry Soap bottle (we aren't big enough as a company to buy true Laundry Soap bottles in the three-thousand-per-order minimum that bottle manufacturers require yet)!
We also want you to know that we fill your laundry bottle - we don't base content on standard bottle sizes - as most laundry bottles leave a lot of air space above the product. Your bottle will be full when you open it.
Organic Liquid Laundry Soap contains no Sodium Laurel Sulfate* or other harsh detergents, alcohols, d-limonene, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, or preservatives.
This laundry soap is made from a gentle Castile soap-base, with a special Essential Oil blend.
Organic Liquid Laundry Soap is of special benefit to chemically sensitive and immune-system impaired individuals. The most sensitive will realize the greatest benefit.

Use about 1/3 cup per load - a little more for hard water.
Organic Liquid Laundry Soap may be neutralized by detergent residues left over in your washing machine, so use enough to get the barest start of foam on top. You may have to use a little extra the first time. Always mix into warm water before adding the clothes. Softens clothes with natural aloe! Also has a mild whitening effect. Great for silks and fine fabrics & wool.

*ABOUT Sodium Laurel Sulfate:
Sodium Lauryl (Laureth) Sulfate (SLS) is currently the primary foaming agent of Western civilization. It is usually found in combination with cocamidopropyl betaine (cocabetaine) and diethanolalamine (DEA), which itself has fallen under scrutiny of late.
SLS is found in shampoos, bath gels, car washes, dish detergents, bar "soaps", laundry detergents, etc.
It is a wetting and dispersing agent, emulsifier, degreaser and foamer. It also increases skin permeability roughly 100 times and is used in lotions to increase absorption of micronutrients through the skin.
WHY use an ORGANIC Laundy Soap? Here are the potential negatives concerning just ONE ingredient in normal Laundy Detergent - Sodium Laurel Sulfate:
- It may increase hair loss, and promote skin and scalp irritation in sensitive individuals.
- It may produce skin and hair damage including cracking and inflammation. SLS is a known skin irritant and is used in lotion tests. First the skin is [intentionally] irritated with SLS - then the soothing effects of the lotion [being tested] is tested on it [the irritated area].
- It is used in toothpaste to make it foam and also so the paste will stay together when coming out of the machines. Unfortunately it also aggravates the gums causing irritation. A University of Oslo (Norway) report states that individuals with gum disease had their symptoms cleared 40 times faster when non-SLS toothpaste was used.
- There is a possible link between SLS and permanent damage to the eyes of infants, based on one 40 year old Italian study we heard of. This definitely deserves further investigation.
- A (remote) possible bladder cancer risk factor exists if one holds their urine in their bladder for long periods of time (Trucker Syndrome).
