Why should you buy from Sites like ours that are devoted to providing chemical-free Organic products?
...because just about ALL 'Natural' and 'Organic' bottled products sitting on a shelf for adult or baby SKIN or HAIR care or home CLEANING and laundry use have one or more dangerous chemical preservatives in them - for shelf-life.
Manufacturers want months to store, ship and sell their products, and they may have to sit in heat as they are stored or shipped. Preservatives allow that.
They also likely have chemical foaming agents, binders and suspension agents that sound innocent (like Emulsifying Wax) but are produced with dangerous chemicals (like Polysorbate 20 or 60 in the case of Emulsifying Wax).
If our skin care products are ever found in Health Food stores they will be in the refrigerated section, because we don't use dangerous preservatives or binders. We only use pure Rosemary Extract/Essential Oil in some items.
If you want or need products free of dangerous chemicals you must buy products that have limited shelf life. If our skin care products are kept away from heat in a normal home setting they will last an average of 2-9 months, like any cold-pressed oil will (it all depends on your home's warmest temperatures). In the refrigerator they keep indefinately. You can ALWAYS put our products in the refrigerator when not in use for indefinate shelf life. Our bar and foaming soaps and cleaning and laundry products will last a minimum of 12-14 months in a normal home setting.

1,4-Dioxane is considered a chemical "known to the State of California to cause cancer.”
It is a byproduct of the cancer-causing petrochemical Ethylene Oxide, which is used as part of a short-cut process called Ethoxylation, which makes harsh ingredients milder.
1,4-Dioxane is also suspected of being a kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant and respiratory toxicant, among others, according to the California EPA.
It is also a leading ground-water contaminant.
